s/t
7" $6.50 (Implied Sound)
"Holy fuck, this record is amazing! Ominous krautrock rhythms over Einsterzende style industrial clatter, some lost seventies psych rock holy grail channeled through modern post rock. Dreamy and dark and mesmerizing. Hypnotic guitar lines and simple shuffling rhythms that build into clattery propulsive jams, all clanging angular riffs and dense tangled drumming. VERY This Heat like, and reminiscent of the late great Laddio Bolocko. Some sort of dangerous and mysterious postrock / krautrock hybrid, lo-fi but thick and dense and amazingly heavy." -Aquarius Records

Bradbury
Instant Oblivian
CD Digipack $12.00 (Dual Plover)
Sydney Australia's favourite chronically depressed, long term unemployed, alcoholic, asthmatic, homosexual electronic music pioneer. A man who's just spent the waking half of the last two years concocting this, his third collection of solo works titled 'INSTANT OBLIVION' between copious amounts of drinks and bouts with day time television. If his previous effort the lauded "RUFFINI CORPUSCLE" was a plumb designed to measure the depths of a luscious aural abyss. This album is the measurement discovered by its predecessors journey delving deep into exquisite musical epiphany.

Naked on the Vague
The Blood Pressure
CD $10.00 (Dual Plover)
Following from last years self-titled single (which is almost sold out), Naked On The Vague’s debut album, ‘The Blood Pressure Sessions’, dives deep into a world of apocalyptic pop and psychedelic weirdness... Lucy and Matthew’s disparate vocals grip onto stabbing keys and menacing hook-laden basslines, pushed on by an unrelenting drum machine far past the end of its warranty period. Essentially this is a ‘punk’ assault packaged into nine distinct tracks that range from some almost dance-able short and sharp ‘hits’ to gloomy extended freak-outs. Taking direction from where the short lived no-wave movement ended Naked On The Vague expand on what that imploded scene could have garnished had it not succumbed to its own fatalistic shortcomings.

French Record
CD Digipack $11.00 (Dual Plover)
yep sissy spacek - dual plover a match made in heaven . Here is the speil "Since 1999, Sissy Spacek has been one of the most difficult groups around, with a starting point of full-on blur/grindcore and an evolution to the definition of the most extreme/intense fringes of musique concrete, instantly identifiable by the handywork of John Wiese. On this, their fifth proper album, Sissy Spacek explore new
territory, as always, and take turns no one could foresee into electro-acoustic improv, collage, industrial, noise and heavy metal, with a line up that includes Kevin Drumm, Kate Hall (Mika Miko), Sam Ott (The Fucking Angels), Corydon Ronnau, John Wiese, and C. Spencer Yeh (Burning Star Core). French Record is their strongest and most mature yet." We already have advance orders for this disc so again don't hold out because they will all be gone.
Strotter Inst.
Live Act at Oblo
Digipack CD $8.00 (Tilt)
Strotter is the work of one man, Swiss turntablist / sound artist Christoph Hess, who takes old turntables, augments them with various wires and elastic bands, pieces of metal and all sorts of found objects, and then creates gorgeously Spartan symphonies of rhythm and texture using just the turntable and the stylus, no records at all. No music.
Sutcliffe Jugend
This is the Truth
CD $13.00 (Hospital)
The first sutcliffe jugend studio album in eight years. "This is the Truth" quite possibly stands as one of the most original and perfectly balanced noise compositions of the last 10 years. It references and uses classic Sutcliffe Jugend of old while bringing in an entirely unique and fresh element one does not hear in noise. This album is a brilliant blend of foreboding tension, and anxiety while using the most lively, disturbing, and textural elements of noise. All of which are brought together with the phenomenal detail and balance of an accomplished electronic composer. Songs that you think will explode leave you hanging with tension, while others erupt with violence out of nowhere. it's an absolutely brilliant album that was worth the wait.

Zaimph
Sexual Infinity
CD $12.00 (Hospital)
Marcia Bassett of double leopards, hototogisu, ghq, fame on her first proper solo full length has given us one of our favorites in the history of hospital productions. sexual infinty stands refreshingly organized into six escalating pieces of her signature guitar, voice, and electronic moodscapes entrancing the listener with sinister seduction. Comparisons to early 80's power electronics and industrial acts as uncommunity, mauthausen orchestra and ramleh reside in the underbelly of zaimph's ability to generate ominous, gritty, and doom laden atmosphere cloaked in a thick lush drone. What begins with raw ethereal guitar shadows of longing delight closes with vital gripping electronic tension.
